Museum
Established in 1900, funded by and named for the donor “The Alexander Soutzos Museum”, it is actually under renovation together with its necessary extension, expected to be completed before the end of 2020. The new Athens National Gallery will present in its various collections more than 20,000 paintings, sculptures, engravings and other works of art, covering a period of artistic production from the post-byzantine times to our days.
